I'm getting back into the editing process. #OMGlostcountofdraftnumber. I'd like to make a shout out to my Beta Readers for their help in this critical step.

A cold zapped my energy, but I'm back to writing. A week off actually created some mental space for editing a scene with too much white room syndrome.

This week I'm up to 75,000 words for my current novel. Still on draft one, but I can see the finish line. For those unfamiliar, the range for similar dark fantasy novels averages from 85K to 100k. Some sources report up to 120K, but this can be a bit risky for publishers interested in taking on a debut novel.
