My Story

I'm an author and clinical psychologist specializing in correctional psychology, severe mental illness, health psychology, and LGBTQ+ care. I've been working in the field of clinical psychology since the late 1990's and received my doctorate in clinical psychology in 2003. I have extensive experience in public service administration. Other interests include social psychology and politics. I expanded from non-fiction writing and psychology trainings to dark fantasy fiction writing in an effort to explore alternate ways of disseminating information about mental illness and wellness. I live in the St. Louis Area with my partner and a flock of finches, canaries, and lovebirds.
