This week I'm up to 75,000 words for my current novel. Still on draft one, but I can see the finish line. For those unfamiliar, the range for similar dark fantasy novels averages from 85K to 100k. Some sources report up to 120K, but this can be a bit risky for publishers interested in taking on a debut novel.
